NEPAL VOCATIONAL ACADEMY, BHAKTAPUR

The demand for skilled personnel is growing every day. Rabindra Puri Foundation for Conservation has expanded its campus and opened a new Nepal Vocational Academy building in Bhaktapur to satisfy demand. We’ve already started training in Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Woodcarving. In the near future, we will be adding more training options. This academy is expected to graduate roughly 200 competent individuals in the field of cultural conservation each year. Mr. Rabindra Puri contributed 500 square meters of land worth nearly a million dollars, and the German Organization Schuelerhilfe für Nepal aided in the development of the Nepal Vocational Academy in Bhaktapur.

This structure has a center courtyard that is encircled on all sides by constructed structures. There are currently 4 ( Four) Workshops, 8 (Eight) Classrooms, 1(One) Office, 1(one) Meeting Room, and 1 (one) Multipurpose Hall in the building. Furthermore, the structure offers enough room to incorporate extra parts as needed. The structure covers 1 (one) Ropani of land and has a total surface area of 19,000 square feet. The academy facility, we think, has enough space and training facilities for 200 pupils.

We have tried to come up with new ways to address the problem of young unemployment and the tragic loss of Nepalese youth to foreign countries. Our youth are our most valuable resource, and we cannot build a successful future as a country without them. We have high hopes that these efforts will aid in resolving Nepal‘s development issues and producing youths who are highly trained, knowledgeable, and capable of earning a good living while building a country in which we can all be proud.
