Kumari Bank Limited came into being as Nepal’s fifteenth Commercial Bank by launching its banking operations from Chaitra 21, 2057 B.S. (April 03, 2001) with the aim of providing competitive and modern banking services on the financial market in Nepal. The Bank has paid out NPR 9.55 billion of capital, of which 51 percent is contributed by promoters and remains from the public.

Kumari Bank Limited has provided a wide range of modern banking services through 153 representation points located in different urban , semi-urban and rural parts of the country, with 96 branches outside the valley, 30 branches inside the valley, 6 extension counters and 21 branch-less banking units.

The Bank is confident that, with the implementation of Core Banking Software, FINACLE (version 10), it will be able to provide a robust, ultra-modern banking platform for all customers across the country.

The Bank has offered both Domestic and International Visa Debit Card and Credit Card, accessible throughout Nepal and India in all VISA linked ATMs, providing additional services to customers through its 122 National ATMs and several POS terminals.
