Bhaktapur Multiple Campus

2016 Kartik 19 B.S. has been noted as one of the most important dates in terms of education in the historical city of Bhaktapur. The primary cause for this was the development of Bhaktapur Multiple Campus, which shone as a stepping stone to education for Kathmandu Valley‘s newest city.

As we all know, the foundation of an educational institution during the Rana Regime was primarily merely on paper, which is a sad truth. There was just one school in Bhaktapur at the time, the Bhaktapur English School, as well as one Sanskrit Pathshala and Kanya Pathshala as a learning center for an education. In 2003 B.S., Bhaktapur English School was renamed Shri Padma High School. Almost all educational institutions, including Padma High School, were named after the Rana Regime. It was reported that in the year 2003 B.S., there was not a single graduate in Bhaktapur.

Bhaktapur has been primarily engaged in Kalakaushal, TantraMantra, and Religion from ancient times, and as a result, it has been unable to progress in education. This may be due to Bhaktapur‘s status as an agricultural hub among Kathmandu Valley‘s brother cities. Bhaktapur‘s main specializations were business and agriculture. During the Madhyakal period, there were still wise people interested in literature. Vidyarthi Niketan and Sharada School were founded in 2003 B.S. People in Bhaktapur still lacked higher education when the Rana Regime fell in 2007 B.S., and Kathmandu was the sole choice for many years.
