Bhaktapur, also known as Khwopa(Khwapa) in the local Newari language, is an old Newari cultural center in the Kathmandu Valley. The city is 15 km from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The maximum temperature in this city is 35 degrees Celsius in summer and minimum 3 degrees Celsius in winter. The average rainfall is 1362.2 mm and 90 percent of the rainfall is in monsoon (from June to August).
